Writing to Persuade
White group are off to a brilliant start this term. We have been following the progress of Hurricane Dorian and used the work of the rescue teams to inspire our persuasive writing.
The group were faced with a dilemma- a rescue boat is approaching, but there are not enough spaces for everyone! Learners had the task of persuading the rescuers that they deserved a place on the boat. They listened to each other’s arguments and took a vote to decide the allocation of spaces.
