A word of the week will be displayed in all classrooms. The word will change every Monday. This week it is ‘empathy’. It ties in with Anti-bullying week and kindness. The word is talked about in lessons and tutor time and various antonyms and synonyms are also explored. This can be a really good way of extending vocabulary and improving reading.
