Visit by the housing Coach
Chris Humba (The Housing Coach) delivered a very informative session to our year 10 learners. With a focus on Preparing for Adulthood and Careers. The learners engaged in discussion about different housing agreements and their benefits and potential risks.
They also learnt what makes a good tenant versus a bad tenant, likewise a good landlord versus a bad landlord. Finally they discussed what jobs the tenant would be expected to do and which jobs the landlord is responsible for. The learners were fantastic for the whole session making excellent progress towards out vision of creating; confident, competent and kind citizens of the future.
