Instructions in Science
As well as the knowledge gained in Science there are many transferrable skills that we learn in Science lessons. This half term key stage three learners are focussing on developing practical skills. So far we’ve learnt about different equipment and keeping ourselves safe. Learner wrote their own risk assessment for an activity last week.
This week we have been working on instructions; following written instructions by playing the “draw a picture” game, then following instructions to carry out an activity before writing our instructions. These are all useful life skills that show us why Science is so important in school.
