Demonstrating Kindness in the Sanctuary
Learners in The Sanctuary have been demonstrating such kindness this half term and we are all so proud of them.
A small group have been exploring ways of showing their peers and staff that they care and that they want them to have a great Christmas. They worked with staff on ideas and finally decided on two activities:
- Preparing a Christmas lunch for staff
- Making Christmas Eve bags for students to take home.
The Christmas lunch was very well-received and staff were touched by this wonderful gesture which also including crackers! We are certain that the giving of the Christmas Eve bags will be equally as well-received before we break up for Christmas and we are looking forward to our learners handing them out. We are so proud of the learners who took part and we know they are, too.
