Violence Reduction Unit workshops Spring Term 2025
Learners at Trinity Academy Newcastle Upper Site are involved in several workshops delivered by the VRU on topic such as; Joint Enterprise, Knife Crime, County Lines, Malicious Communications, Drugs & Vulnerability and Alcohol and Vulnerability; supporting our PSHE and Safeguarding curriculum.
This week the focus was Drugs, the sessions are interactive with lots of props to facilitate discussion and impart vital knowledge to our learners. This will also include use of VR headsets.
Today we passed around a question ball and answered questions, asked questions and discussed the pitfall of drugs.
