Climbing High in the Spring Term 2025
This term the new exciting PE curriculum moves onto bouldering and rock climbing at Whickham Thorns. This is an amazing opportunity for our learners to conquer fear, learn new skills and build confidence and resilience. It has proven to be wildly popular with our learners, utilising the VELO interactive bouldering experience as well as actual climbing with ropes and harnesses.
The learners have been a credit to the school and are truly enjoying themselves as the make huge progress. To see the progress and boost in confidence is truly humbling.
