Meet the employer – Newcastle Building Society
Year 11 Trinity Academy Upper Site learners, had the opportunity to meet with employers and employees from Newcastle Building Society.
They took part in a fun and interactive session that include; advice on budgets and finance, Timeline of saving, there apprenticeship programme and credit scores.
They also shared a story about a recent apprentice on their scheme who used the opportunity to turn her life around and ultimately won an award as apprentice of the year (very inspirational stuff for our learners to hear).
The learners were very engaged and the visitors said they were very impressed with their input and questions.
