One Year 9 learner also attempted questions from a 2019 GCSE Maths paper and showed commendable levels of resilience to complete over half of the questions with a high percentage of correct answers!

Year 8 and Year 9 learners have also been working through Functional Skills English past papers and were engaged when selecting relevant information to confirm assumptions that had been made. This was after lessons where they looked at the different types of words that make up the text that we read every day as they completed a Gothic Literature series of lessons.

Excellent attitudes to learning enabled all learners involved to build upon previous learning and add to skills and knowledge that they already processed.
