Chinese New Year 2024
Our last day of term has been spent celebrating Chinese New Year. In Miss Stewart’s classroom, Yellow group have been engaging in a range of fun activities. All of the learners drew round their handprints and decorated them with their favourite colours and patterns to create our Yellow group dragon!
We also used tissue papers representing the colours of the Chinese New Year to decorate our own lanterns! Our learners also enjoyed our competitive rice competition, the learners has to use their chopsticks to pick up individual grains of rice before their timer went off. The learner who has the most rice in their bowl by the end won a prize!
