Beat That!
Mr Butler was at it again, developing confidence through Play.
Beat That, a great series of games and challenges to put against one another.
Teams, streams of learners piled into Mr Butlers classroom to challenge themselves on what seemed to be simple activities, but turned out to be something they needed to complete.
Many stood by and watched, but then wanted to play.
In this example, placing a cup on a chopstick balanced over a die, the aim was to flip for cup over to its opposite position (upside down to right way up and vice versa).
Oh how we laughed as this is 'simple, I can do that' challenge turned into a solid 10 minutes of trying, and trying and trying.
Success I hear you ask? Of course! Eventually but the wait was worth it. All the confidence, determination, resilience and support from each other was great to see!
We wonder, what will Mr Butler do next?
