Voting Fever Hits White Group!
This term White group are reading “Millions” by Frank Cotterell Boyce- if you don’t know the story two brothers find a bag stuffed full of cash, but they only have seventeen days to spend the money before the UK changes its currency.
We discussed lots of ideas about how the boys could spend the money and the most common theme was to give lots to charity- but which one? This led us to researching and debating the merits of our chosen charities and finally a vote by the group to determine which charity they thought was the most worthy.
In the current political climate, it was a really good way of including how the democratic process works, as well as lots of fun.
