#BETTEREXTREME

As a reward for Power of Choice we attended Westgate Trampoline Park, some of us had attended a trampoline park before and one of the group had a trampoline in their garden!
The photograph shows a learner demonstrating how to do a flip to another learner who was having difficulty as he hadn’t been on a trampoline before. They both showed perseverance, resilience and humour and we all enjoyed watching the ‘lesson’ and encouraging them both.
Trampolining has many health benefits, jumping helps to keep your bones strong, aids circulation, improves posture, balance and coordination and very importantly during the Covid Pandemic it enhances your immunity to ward off infections!
Jumping on a trampoline also imparts a sense of well-being. It triggers the release of endorphin, the ‘feel good’ hormones to lift your mood, promote optimism and self confidence, we all decided we would try and get the best possible points next term so we could choose Trampolining as our Engagement option again.
